Ink Institute Premium Sheen Ink - Jadeite

really gorgeous ink! the red sheening with the turquoise adds a beautiful effect, but it's only mostly noticeable in thicker/wetter swabs. watered down, it becomes a really pretty light turquoise (similar to pilot iroshizuka's sui-gyoku), and in thinner/less intense washes it's mostly a teal color.

Such a great deep shade. Sheen is fantastic, these are my first inks from Ink Institute and they will not be my
last.

The ink is a green on the darker side with a low to medium amount of sheen on fine and extra fine nibs. The effect is that you can see the ink color and not just the sheen. Flow is average in my Majohn C5 which can probably be considered wet for a sheening ink 🤣. Dry times are not long, on Midori MD paper the ink does not smudge after drying. When cleaning it does leave a residue so extra effort is required on demonstrators.

My favorite ink ever. Definitely 5 stars.
