Palisades Tanto XL Collection Fountain Pen - Toki Tamenuri - Limited Edition

The Palisades Tanto XL - Toki Tamenuri is part of a limited-edition fountain pen collection inspired by the classic Japanese tanto, a traditional short blade historically carried by samurai. Interpreting the tanto’s sweeping silhouette into an elegant fountain pen design, each piece is fitted with a premium Japanese 18-karat gold nib and features a comfortable grip, which is hand-finished using urushi lacquer, inlay, and traditional maki-e techniques. Each pen includes an acrylic stand for you to display as if it were a tanto.

Toki Tamenuri features a deep red urushi finish with deep, dark tones across the body and brighter red appearing along its edges and contours. The layered appearance gives the finish a sense of depth, beautifully emphasizing the pen’s flowing form.
